This building contract provided for the conversion of two small rooms to the rear of a semi-detached property into a large kitchen. The work involved required sympathetic management of the building work to minimise disruption to the owners who are living at the property during the period of the construction project.

The building work included removal of walls, construction of new external cavity walls, new rooflights and the refurbishment of existing outbuildings to provide extended family accommodation to the property.

As access to the property was difficult it meant minimising dust and inconvenience for the owners by utilising a rear access and the careful management of the building project and workforce.

In addition the project provided for the provision of the new bespoke kitchen including the laying of slate tile flooring.

Project period 4 months
