Garreglwydd Rhoscolyn

Set on the coast overlooking the Irish Sea, Garreglwyd is a house with spectacular views. The property had been previously extended with a small flat roofed bay window and porch.
We secured this contract having worked for the owners previously and because of our expertise in being able to work sympathetically with the surroundings and within budget. The clients wanted a sympathetic approach to the development incorporating, where possible, eco friendly materials. The project also allowed the option for the future installation of solar panels and a phone link for the programming of the heating.

The building required the removal of a small porch and internal alterations. The internal works needed comprised full electrical rewire and partial re-plumbing. The main internal works were the insulating of the main roof, which required alterations to the upper ceilings to account for the new latest high quality insulation.

The extension provided for a new kitchen, large first floor bedroom, and a new shower room. As the shower room was incorporated within the existing house, this required careful onsite designing and various meetings with the Architects.
Further work to the property included the installation of a new Klargester Bio disc and new drainage

The house was redecorated fully both internally and externally.

The landscaping and new paths were laid after close consultation with the clients and Architects.
